BTS completes North American tour leg with record-breaking shows
K-pop group BTS has concluded the North American leg of its ‘Arirang’ world tour, completing a five-month run of 31 sold-out shows across 12 cities. According to BigHit Music, the tour drew an estimated 1.92 million fans across the continent, including stops in New York, El Paso, and Mexico City.
The North American leg finished with four concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, attracting approximately 282,000 attendees. The group has now performed eight shows at the venue, setting a record for the most performances by any act and drawing 496,000 total fans to the stadium. The Los Angeles shows were also streamed to fans in 177 countries via the Weverse platform.
During the performances, fans celebrated the birthdays of members Jungkook and RM. The group also performed ‘Body to Body’ from their fifth studio album, ‘Arirang,’ during which fans waved South Korean national flags. BTS is scheduled to continue the tour in South America starting October 2 in Bogota, with subsequent stops in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo.
