BTS prepares for Argentina tour dates amid labor dispute

The K-pop group BTS has arrived in Argentina for the “ARIRANG” World Tour, with three scheduled performances at the Estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona in La Plata on October 21, 23, and 24, 2026. While organizers have stated the concerts remain on schedule, the events face potential logistical challenges due to a labor dispute.

Sutcapra, a union representing admission and permanence control workers, has declared a state of alert and mobilization. The union is protesting against contracted companies that intend to apply a different collective bargaining agreement and are seeking improved wage rates for the event days. While the dispute could lead to measures that slow down stadium access and turnstile management, officials have not officially suspended any shows.

In anticipation of the concerts, logistical details regarding stadium access, parking, and digital ticket validation via the Quentro app have been released. Meanwhile, band members have begun their stay in the country, with leader RM reportedly visiting local landmarks in Buenos Aires.
