BTS Arirang World Tour reaches $433.2 million in revenue

BTS is achieving massive commercial success with their ‘Arirang’ World Tour, which has generated $433.2 million in revenue and sold 2.3 million tickets across 38 shows as of August 2026. In July alone, the group earned $102.5 million from eight performances, ranking second on Billboard’s Top Tours chart behind The Weeknd. This achievement places BTS among a rare group of artists, including Beyoncé and Bad Bunny, capable of exceeding $100 million in monthly tour revenue.

The group recently performed two sold-out shows at Soldier Field in Chicago. During the performance, the group surprised fans by playing ‘Hip Hop Phile,’ a track from their 2014 album ‘Dark & Wild’ that had not been performed live in nine years. The Chicago stop was part of a larger tour that includes upcoming dates in Argentina and Brazil, which will be broadcast via live viewing in Japanese cinemas.

In Illinois, the group’s return was marked by local recognition, with Governor JB Pritzker declaring August 27 and 28 as ‘BTS Day’ following petitions from local fan communities and immigrant advocacy groups.
