BTS Jimin's concert gesture sparks $92,000 in cancer research donations

Following a heartwarming interaction during a BTS concert in Arlington, Texas, fans have raised over $92,000 for children battling cancer. During the 'ARIRANG' world tour performance at AT&T Stadium, BTS member Jimin approached a young fan, Olivia, who has been fighting cancer for over a year. Jimin offered her a signed gift, a hug, and a kiss on the cheek.

The moment, captured by the nonprofit organization ‘Heroes for Children’, went viral with millions of views. In response to the gesture, BTS fans (ARMY) launched a massive donation drive. As of May 23, donations exceeded the organization's initial $50,000 goal, reaching approximately $92,459 to support pediatric cancer patients and their families.
