BTS member Jimin inspires cancer fundraising after Texas concert encounter

During a BTS “ARIRANG” world tour concert in Arlington, Texas, member Jimin shared an emotional moment with a young cancer patient named Olivya. Olivya, who was attending the show through the nonprofit Heroes for Children, was embraced and kissed on the cheek by the singer.

Following the encounter, the BTS global fanbase, known as “ARMY,” launched significant fundraising efforts to support the nonprofit. Initial campaigns aimed at helping families affected by pediatric cancer in Texas quickly surpassed their goals. Local fan groups, including the Dallas Texas BTS Army, coordinated with the organization’s “DFW Hero Games” event. As of recent reports, the partnership between fans and the charity has raised over $71,500 to provide financial and social support to children battling cancer.
