BTS member Jimin's World Cup shirt fetches $110,000 at charity auction
A shirt worn by BTS member Jimin during the group’s halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium sold for $110,000 at Christie’s “One Goal” charity auction. The item tied with the official match ball as the auction’s highest‑selling piece, far exceeding its early $3,000‑$5,000 estimate.
The auction, which ran for seven days, generated $652,630 in total bids, with BTS‑related apparel accounting for $300,300 (46% of all proceeds). All money will be donated to FIFA’s Global Citizen Education Fund to support education and football resources for children in underserved communities.
