BTS member V reveals two-year battle with hearing loss

BTS member V, born Kim Tae-hyung, has revealed he has been battling significant hearing loss in his right ear for approximately two and a half years. During a recent livestream, the singer explained that his right ear's hearing capacity is only about 30% compared to his left ear.

V noted that the condition worsened during his mandatory military service in South Korea. While he initially attempted to manage the issue through mental strength, he is now receiving medical treatment and regular hospital check-ups. The specific cause of the hearing loss has not been publicly disclosed.

During the same broadcast, fellow member Jungkook disclosed that he is managing a shin injury that carries a risk of developing into a stress fracture, which has impacted his movement during performances. Despite these health challenges, BTS is continuing their Arirang World Tour, which follows the group's reunion after completing their military obligations.
