BTS member V uses Peruvian slang following arrival in Lima

Kim Tae-hyung, known as V from the South Korean group BTS, has engaged fans in Peru by using local slang on social media. Following the group's arrival in the country on October 5, V posted a series of photos on Instagram accompanied by the Peruvian phrase “¿Qué fue, causa?”.

The post quickly gained massive traction, surpassing one million interactions and making the expression a trending topic on X (formerly Twitter) across Peru and Latin America.

As part of their ‘Arirang’ world tour, BTS is scheduled to perform three concerts at the Estadio San Marcos on October 7, 9, and 10. During interactions on the Weverse platform, V also expressed interest in exploring Peruvian gastronomy and reiterated a long-standing desire to visit the Machu Picchu citadel.
