BTS's 'Normal' re-enters Billboard Hot 100 after World Cup halftime show

South Korean group BTS saw its track "Normal" climb back onto the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, landing at No. 33 for the chart dated August 1. The song originally entered the chart at No. 41 on April 4 and gained renewed momentum after the release of its music video and Korean‑language version on April 17.

The resurgence coincided with BTS’s halftime performance at the FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on June 19, which helped the single achieve 26.6 million streams and 44,000 sales in the week of April 17‑23. The accompanying album ARIRANG remains in the Billboard 200’s top ten at No. 9, while "Normal" also reached No. 4 on the Global 200 chart and No. 2 on the Global Ex‑U.S. chart. BTS’s continued chart success contributes to HYBE’s strong second‑quarter results, reporting 1.45 trillion KRW in revenue and 170.9 billion KRW in operating profit.

The group will continue its North‑American tour with shows at New York’s MetLife Stadium on August 1‑2.
