Bàtu restaurant at Grand Hotel San Pietro earns Michelin Guide recognition

Bàtu, the fine dining restaurant located within the Grand Hotel San Pietro in Taormina, has been included in the Michelin Guide. Led by chef Luca Miuccio, the restaurant focuses on contemporary Sicilian cuisine, emphasizing plant-based ingredients and local raw materials to reflect the Mediterranean landscape.

This achievement follows a significant transformation of the Grand Hotel San Pietro, which is managed by Lindbergh Hotels. The property has undergone extensive restructuring and restyling supported by investments exceeding 16 million euros.

In conjunction with this culinary milestone, industry experts and hotel leaders recently convened at the hotel for the “Grandi eventi sostenibili quale motore del turismo” conference. The event highlighted the growing importance of sustainable and gastronomic tourism in Sicily, noting that over 70% of tourists visiting the island prioritize culinary experiences linked to sustainability and biodiversity.
