bTV launches football talent reality show in Bulgaria

bTV has launched a new sports reality format titled ‘Football Trials: The Day That Changed My Life’ to identify young football talent across Bulgaria. The project is open to boys and girls aged 8 to 20, divided into four age groups: 8–10, 11–13, 14–16, and 17–20.

Trials are scheduled throughout September in seven Bulgarian cities: Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratsa, Blagoevgrad, and Sofia. From these trials, 76 participants will be selected for a final selection process involving game scenarios, a training camp, and a final phase. The ultimate goal is to provide participants with the opportunity to secure professional club contracts.

The program is hosted by professional footballer Ivaylo Krusharski, who previously played for West Ham United. Krusharski has been involved in talent development initiatives since returning to Bulgaria, with previous iterations of the project having seen over 5,000 participants and resulting in more than 450 professional contracts.
