Buan Red Sunset Festival concludes with 93,000 visitors

The 2026 Buan Red Sunset Festival concluded its three-day run at Byeonsan Beach, drawing an estimated 93,000 visitors. The event featured diverse programs including a Red Wine Festa, a jazz festival, a children's song contest, and sand sculpture lighting shows.

The festival experienced fluctuating attendance and weather conditions. During its second day, the venue saw a significant surge in crowds during the evening hours, leading to record-breaking attendance at night despite some logistical challenges regarding parking and facilities.

The final day was impacted by heavy rain and strong winds, which forced the early rescheduling of the children's song contest and the cancellation of several daytime activities. However, the festival concluded with closing performances by artists such as Mokbi and Gummy, followed by a fireworks display.
