Puebla's BUAP Launches Plan Becas 2026 Fair Offering 10,000 Scholarships

The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), together with the State Government and the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP), will hold the fifth edition of the “Plan Becas: Impulsando la Educación 2026” fair from July 18 to 21 at the Centro Expositor Puebla, Salón Fuerte de Loreto in the historic Los Fuertes area. More than 10,000 scholarships and financial aids will be available, with discounts ranging from 15 % to 70 % on enrollment and tuition fees for over 64 participating higher‑education institutions, including BUAP‑incorporated universities and SEP‑accredited schools.

Prospective students must bring official identification, proof of the last completed grade, and, for those applying to BUAP‑incorporated programs, the printed admission form for BUAP 2026. The fair will also feature orientation modules to inform visitors about the breadth of academic offerings. “El Plan Becas surge para apoyar a todos aquellos estudiantes de nivel medio superior y superior que no pudieron ingresar a nuestra institución,” said Jorge Avelino Solís, head of the Coordination General of Participation and Student Development.

The event aims to expand access to secondary and higher education for thousands of young people in Puebla, providing financial support and guidance to help them continue their studies.
