BUAP celebrates administrative training and academic excellence awards

The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) has highlighted recent achievements in both administrative training and academic excellence.

Twenty-eight participants recently completed the second edition of the Strategic Management of Administrative Processes Diploma. During the closing ceremony, Rector Lilia Cedillo Ramírez emphasized that the skills acquired by these administrative directors and secretaries are intended to improve daily institutional activities and student services. The program was organized by the university's Administrative Secretariat to strengthen resource planning and management.

In academic news, 115 BUAP graduates received the Ceneval Award for Excellence in EGEL 2025 performance. These students represent 29 different educational programs across various regional campuses, including Atlixco, Huauchinango, Tecamachalco, Tehuacán, and Teziutlán. Alejandra Zúñiga Bohigas, director of Ceneval's General Exams for Undergraduate Graduation, noted that these graduates belong to a select group, as only 2.9 percent of the 2.5 million people who have taken the EGEL since 2011 have received this distinction.
