BUAP honors first Physical Culture graduates on 31st anniversary

The Faculty of Physical Culture (FACUFI) at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) celebrated its 31st anniversary with a ceremony honoring its founding members and first graduating class.

During the event held at the Edificio Carolino, Rector Lilia Cedillo Ramírez presented recognitions to 21 graduates from the inaugural class of 1995–2000. The ceremony also honored the faculty members and the first council that established the unit.

In addition to the awards, a discussion was held featuring Director Andrea Flores Flores and founding professors to reflect on the challenges and successes of the faculty's early years. The institution has since expanded its academic offerings to include degrees in Physical Culture and Readaptation and Physical Activation, as well as a master's degree in Physical Activity and Sport for Human Well-being.
