BUAP hosts major psychology and transcultural congresses

The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) is hosting three major academic events from September 23 to 25: the XXI Social Psychology Congress, the XII International Congress on Personal Relations, and the X Latin American Congress on Transcultural Psychology.

Inaugurated by Rector Lilia Cedillo Ramírez, the congresses aim to provide students and researchers with opportunities to engage with national and international specialists. The events, organized by the BUAP Faculty of Psychology and the Mexican Association of Social Psychology (AMEPSO), focus on analyzing contemporary psychosocial phenomena through interdisciplinary dialogue.

José Luis Rodríguez Sánchez, director of the Faculty of Psychology, noted that the gatherings serve to address modern societal challenges. Additionally, AMEPSO representative Rolando Díaz Loving emphasized that the convergence of these themes allows for a holistic study of the human experience by connecting the individual to their social and cultural contexts.
