BUAP Pediatric Dental Clinic delivers over 250 low‑cost treatments to children

The Pediatric Dental Clinic of the Faculty of Stomatology at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) has provided more than 250 dental care actions for patients under 18. Services include preventive care, basic and high‑esthetic restorations, and maxillary orthopaedic (orthodontic) treatment, all offered at affordable rates.

Procedures are performed by postgraduate dental students under academic supervision and coordinated with the university’s Oral Rehabilitation, Endodontics and Orthodontics clinics. The clinic also uses animal‑assisted therapy, employing canine co‑therapists from the Centre for Emotional Support and Occupational Therapy with Animals (CAETO) to help reduce patient anxiety. It operates Monday‑Friday from 9:00 am‑1:00 pm and 4:00‑7:00 pm, seeing an average of 50 patients each day. For appointments, callers can reach the clinic at 222 229 55 00, extension 6418.
