BUAP teachers receive scientific training at CERN

Five teachers from various high schools and baccalaureates of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) participated in the Spanish-language Teachers Program at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.

From July 26 to 31, the educators engaged in scientific conferences, practical workshops, and visits to experimental facilities at the European Organization for Nuclear Research. The training focused on particle physics, accelerator operations, detectors, scientific computing, and science communication to help them bring cutting-edge research in mathematics, engineering, and technology to their students.

This participation marks the second consecutive year BUAP has been involved with the program, which aims to foster international collaboration and exchange among Spanish-speaking researchers and educators.
