BUAP to host First International Congress of Sports Medicine Applied to Football

The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), through its Directorate of Sport and Physical Culture (DIDECUFI), will host the First International Congress of Sports Medicine Applied to Current Football. The event is scheduled for September 10 and 11 at the Ciudad Universitaria Convention Center.

The congress serves as a professional training and update space, bringing together national and international specialists in sports medicine, physical preparation, rehabilitation, traumatology, and high-performance football. It is designed for both professionals and students in health and sports sciences.

Academic coordinator Dr. José Cortés Ortiz stated that the primary goal is to bridge scientific and practical knowledge with the specific needs of football performance. The event will feature conferences, workshops, and speakers linked to high-performance clubs and institutions. Registration is available via Boletia, with different rates for professionals and students, including a virtual modality.
