Bubanza infrastructure: Paving works progress along RN9

In Bubanza, Burundi, paving works along the National Road 9 (RN9) are progressing, with completion rates estimated between 50% and 85% across three visited neighborhoods. Local administrator Sabbas Niyokindi noted that while some property owners have finished paving the areas in front of their plots or shops, others have delayed work due to financial constraints or plans to create green spaces.

Niyokindi emphasized the importance of these works for hygiene and sanitation, urging residents to maintain cleanliness to support community health. He also indicated plans to coordinate with public service providers regarding their plots and requested improved potable water supplies from REGIDESO.
