Buca shotgun attacker apprehended in Torbalı

A suspect identified as F. K. has been apprehended in Torbalı following a shotgun attack in the Buca district of Izmir. The incident occurred on August 31 in the Çamlıkule neighborhood after the suspect engaged in a prior dispute with an individual.

According to reports, the suspect arrived at the victim's residence, shouted threats such as “Come out, I will shoot you,” and fired the shotgun randomly into the street. The gunfire caused property damage to an apartment door and several parked vehicles. Witnesses captured the panic-inducing event on mobile phones, showing the suspect waiting with the weapon before fleeing the scene.

Following an investigation by the Izmir Provincial Police Department, authorities located and detained F. K. in Torbalı. The suspect, who is reportedly facing psychological issues, remains in custody as the investigation continues.
