Bucaramanga and Rionegro impose traffic closures for Grupo Firme concert and equine fair

The Bucaramanga traffic authority announced a 12‑hour road‑closure plan around the Américo Montanini stadium for the Grupo Firme concert on Saturday, 8 August. Closures will run from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the first ring between Carrera 30 and Calle 14, with officers directing traffic and urging drivers to use alternate routes and avoid private vehicles. Director of Transit Jahir Manríquez emphasized the need to prevent congestion and protect nearby residents.

In Rionegro, the municipal mobility office issued a temporary one‑way traffic scheme for the 67th Expointernacional Equina Feria de las Flores 2026, held at the ASDESILLA venue on the same day. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., inbound traffic to the event must use the Llanogrande‑El Tablazo‑Tablacito corridor, while outbound traffic will exit via La Pica‑Llanogrande. The changes affect public‑transport routes 03 and 104, and officials have deployed traffic agents to guide drivers and residents, urging them to plan ahead and respect temporary signage.
