Bucaramanga concert ends in riots and security breaches

Disturbances broke out at the Américo Montanini Stadium in Bucaramanga during a major concert for the Feria de Bucaramanga. The chaos erupted after more than 4,000 ticket holders were denied entry because the venue reached its capacity limit.

Witnesses reported that tensions escalated after 9:00 PM when logistics personnel announced that access would be closed. In response, groups of attendees attempted to force their way into the stadium by tearing down security barriers. The confrontations resulted in injuries to several police officers as they attempted to contain the crowd. Local officials, including Councilmen Oscar Arena and Cristian Reyes, criticized the event's organization, citing a lack of logistics management and a failure to guarantee entry for those with valid tickets.
