A fatal altercation in the San Alonso neighborhood of Bucaramanga resulted in the death of 41-year-old Jhovany González Ariza on Thursday, October 15. According to reports, González Ariza sustained five stab wounds during a fight in a public thoroughfare near Carrera 30 and Calle 13A.
Metropolitan Police officers provided assistance and transported the victim to the Hospital Universitario de Santander (HUS), where he later succumbed to his injuries. A 29-year-old man was apprehended by authorities while attempting to enter the medical center. Investigators are currently reviewing security camera footage from the area to clarify the circumstances of the incident and confirm the identity of the perpetrator.
