Bucaramanga officials appointed to Colombia's Ministry of Housing
Two former officials from Jaime Andrés Beltrán’s administration in Bucaramanga have been appointed to strategic positions within Colombia’s national government.
Reynaldo José D’Silva Uribe has been named Vice Minister of Housing under Decree 1168 of August 10, 2026. D’Silva, an engineer and lawyer with over two decades of public service experience, previously served as the Secretary of Finance for Bucaramanga.
Additionally, Ana María Vargas Sepúlveda has been appointed to the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Housing, City and Territory. These appointments bring professional expertise from the Santander region to national policy-making regarding housing, water, and territorial development.
