Buccellati Ladies Italian Open to be held at Golf Club Milano

The 28th edition of the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open, part of the Ladies European Tour, is set to take place at the Golf Club Milano in Monza from September 25 to 27. The tournament features a total prize pool of 350,000 euros and a competitive field of 120 players, including seven athletes from the top ten of the order of merit.

The event kicks off with the Buccellati Pro-Am, where professional players are paired with amateurs. The competition emphasizes inclusion with the participation of four Paralympic golfers: Alessandra Donati, Luisa Ceola, Giulia Marabotti, and Roberta Bartolomei. A ceremonial tee shot from the Club House terrace by Alessandra Fanali, Diana Luna, and Isabella Calogero will officially mark the start of the competition.

Additionally, the event includes a roundtable discussion titled ‘Women Driving Golf: stories, challenges and successes in the female sector,’ featuring athletes and executives such as Cristiano Cerchiai, President of the Italian Golf Federation, to discuss the current state and future of women's golf.
