Bucharest Auto Show 2026 features vehicle premieres and historic displays
The Bucharest Auto Show 2026 has opened at Romexpo, running for six days. The event brings together manufacturers, importers, and suppliers, alongside companies focused on urban mobility solutions.
Key highlights of this edition include four vehicle model premieres in Romania and a brand launch from Europe. Organizer Sorin Rădăcineanu noted that Romania will be the first country to see these specific models on its roads.
Societatea de Transport București (STB) is also participating, showcasing its fleet including the Bucharest City Tour double-decker bus and the new Yutong trolleybus, which features modern safety technology such as an 'Alcolock' system. Additionally, the legendary Tatra T4R tram, which was retired from commercial service earlier this year, will be on display. The exhibition also features a section dedicated to 'Socialist Cars,' tracing the history of automobiles in Romania through different political eras.
