Bucharest Court lifts 100M euro seizure on Nordis apartments
The Bucharest Court of Appeal has issued a final ruling to lift the precautionary seizure on Nordis apartments located in Mamaia, which are valued at over 100 million euros. The court admitted the challenges filed by Nordis Management S.R.L. and Nordis Mamaia S.R.L. against the prosecutor's order.
While the seizure on the corporate assets of the Nordis entities has been lifted, the court rejected the challenge filed by Vladimir Ciorbă. Consequently, the precautionary measures regarding Ciorbă's personal assets remain in place.
Former PSD parliamentarian Laura Vicol, who is associated with the Nordis business through her husband, described the decision as a “huge victory” that removes a major legal obstacle, potentially allowing construction to continue and enabling the delivery of homes to customers.
