Urban development projects are progressing in Bucharest, with new green spaces being established in Sector 5 and Sector 6.

In Sector 5, Mayor Vlad Popescu Piedone announced the official commencement of construction for Parcul Șinei. The large-scale project aims to transform the area into a modern, accessible green space featuring various zones for relaxation and physical activity.

In Sector 6, the third phase of Parcul Liniei, covering the Lujerului – Moinești section, has opened to the public. Developed on a former railway corridor, the park includes basketball and volleyball courts, bicycle paths, playgrounds, and shaded relaxation areas. The project features a light tunnel and an exhibition area dedicated to the history of the Romanian Railways (CFR). Future plans involve extending the park toward Valea Cascadelor.
