Romania utility services face outages due to maintenance and repairs
Various regions in Romania are experiencing utility interruptions due to scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
In Bucharest, approximately 1,395 apartment blocks will face deficient hot water supply until September 18 due to summer maintenance at CET Sud. The Titan neighborhood in Sector 3 is the most affected. While water is being rerouted via CET Progresul, pressure remains low. Service is expected to improve starting September 7 when CET Grivița restarts to support Sector 1, 5, and 6.
Other regional disruptions include: - Argeș: Scheduled electricity outages in Câmpulung, Costești, Băbana, Ungheni, and Coșești. - Suceava: Water supply interruptions in the Obcini neighborhood due to pipeline connection works. - Năsăud and surrounding areas: Water outages in Năsăud, Bața, and Ciceu Mihăiești to repair distribution network damage. - Ilfov: Electricity outages scheduled between September 7 and 10 in Clinceni, Bragadiru, Copăceni, and Chitila for modernization and repairs. - Câmpulung: Localized water outages on Erou C. Constantinescu Street due to a street breakdown.
