Bucharest opens ticket sales for SAGA music festival and National Opera 2026 season
Tickets and season passes for the SAGA by Kaufland music festival have gone on sale. The three‑day event will be held from 21 to 23 August 2026 at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. General admission tickets start at 199 RON, with VIP options up to 1 199 RON. The announced lineup includes Tyga, Loredana, Carla’s Dreams, Subcarpaţi and other international acts, with the full roster to be confirmed later. Children under 12 enter free with an adult, and minors aged 12‑18 must be accompanied by a parent and present a signed parental commitment.
The Bucharest National Opera has also released tickets for the first half of its 2026‑2027 season, running October through December 2026. The program features 18 productions, including premieres of Wagner’s "Tannhäuser" and the ballet "Giselle" by Adolphe Charles Adam. Performances will open on 1 October with "Tannhäuser" conducted by Cristian Mandeal, followed by a mix of operas and ballets such as "Aida," "Rigoletto," "The Nutcracker," and "La Bohème." Director General Daniel Jinga highlighted the season’s aim to attract both regular patrons and new audiences.
