Bucharest school diploma investigation reaches judicial stage

An investigation is underway regarding suspicious diplomas issued by the „Sfânta Treime” Gymnasium School in Bucharest. The documents bear the names of several prominent figures, including Nicușor Dan, George Simion, Ilie Bolojan, Sorin Grindeanu, and Donald Trump. While forensic expertise has confirmed that the school's stamp and the signature attributed to director Șerban Mihail Adrian are authentic, authorities have not yet determined how the documents were produced or how the official markings were applied to them.

Administrative checks by the Bucharest School Inspectorate failed to clarify who created the diplomas or the circumstances surrounding their issuance. Consequently, the Prime Minister's Chancellery has stated that determining the authenticity of the documents and establishing legal responsibility is now a matter for judicial authorities.

The Presidential Administration has referred the case to the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice. Investigators aim to establish whether the documents are counterfeit, who designed them, and who utilized them, potentially leading to criminal charges for the alleged issuance of false documents.
