The Bucharest City Council (CGMB) is set to debate a collaboration protocol between the Municipality of Bucharest and Sector 4. The agreement aims to ensure urban comfort during the modernization and rehabilitation of tramway infrastructure within the sector.

This initiative is part of a larger project to modernize approximately 50 km of tram lines across major arteries in the capital. The project, divided into 16 lots, intends to reduce CO2 emissions and traffic congestion, increase public transport usage, and improve travel times by increasing commercial speeds.
