Bucharest to host 2026 International Longevity Congress
The second edition of the International Longevity Congress is scheduled to take place on September 24, 2026, at the National Library of Romania in Bucharest. Organized by the Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania, the event aims to connect medical research with clinical practice to extend healthy human lifespans, a concept referred to as ‘healthspan’.
The congress is held in partnership with the International Longevity Alliance and the VETEK Association. It serves as a platform to introduce the latest anti-aging technologies, prevention protocols, and biological discoveries to the Romanian medical community and the public. The event coincides with the opening of the 4th Longevity Expo Forum Fest.
Scientific discussions are expected to cover advancements such as cellular reprogramming and the use of epigenetic biomarkers to measure biological age. The congress reflects a global shift in medicine from treating diseases to intervening directly in the biological processes of aging.
