Bucharest to host major technology and startup conferences

Bucharest is set to host significant technology and startup events focused on the commercialization of research and the evolution of the digital economy.

Măgurele Science Park will organize the #B2Com event on October 7, 2026. This gathering aims to bridge the gap between research and the business sector, focusing on transforming strategic technologies into competitive market products. Key areas of interest include artificial intelligence, photonics, robotics, cybersecurity, and HealthTech. The program features lightning sessions to showcase local technological solutions and discussions regarding funding, intellectual property, and technology transfer.

Additionally, the How to Web conference, described as a major startup and technology event in Eastern Europe, will bring together over 3,000 participants from more than 40 countries. The 2026 agenda focuses on market-relevant questions across disciplines such as engineering, AI, and leadership. The event features speakers from major companies including Google, HubSpot, Meta AI, and OpenAI, emphasizing practical lessons and distribution advantages in a landscape where technical barriers are decreasing.
