Bucharest tram line 610 extended to Ghencea terminal

Starting Saturday 1 August 2026, Bucharest’s tram line 610 will be extended from its former terminus at Şos. Panduri to the Ghencea terminal. The change, announced by Societatea de Transport Bucureşti (STB), adds new connections with line 10 and expands transfer options across the network. The new outbound route runs via Bd. Banu Manta, Şos. Nicolae Titulescu, Calea Griviței, Piața Gării de Nord, Str. Witting, Calea Plevnei, Şos. Orhideelor, Bd. Doina Cornea, Bd. General Paul Teodorescu, Bd. Timișoara, Piața Danny Huwe, Str. Răzoare, Şos. Panduri, Calea 13 Septembrie and ends at Bd. Ghencea, terminal Ghencea. The inbound route follows the same streets in reverse.

STB also announced a temporary extension of line 41’s evening service on 2 August and 3 August to accommodate spectators attending football matches at the Giulești and Arcul de Triumf stadiums. The adjustments aim to improve public‑transport accessibility for commuters and event‑goers in the capital.
