Bucheon to host culture week for high school seniors

Bucheon City will host a ‘CSAT Escape Culture Week’ from November 23 to 27 to support high school seniors following the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). The initiative aims to help students relieve academic stress and recharge through various cultural and artistic programs.

Scheduled events include b-boying and dance performances at the Bucheon Citizens' Hall, as well as concerts featuring pop, classical, and film soundtracks at the Bucheon City Hall Eoulmadang. On November 24, a musical reinterpretation of Donizetti’s opera ‘L’elisir d’amore’ will be performed. From November 25 to 27, the city will screen popular comedy and action films.

The program is a collaborative effort involving the Bucheon Cultural Foundation and local music and theater associations. Participation is organized by school, with applications opening on the 19th. Mayor Jo Yong-ik expressed support for the students, encouraging them to set aside their burdens and enjoy time with friends through the arts.
