Bucher Industries' 2026 First-Half Sales Dip Amid Political Uncertainty

Bucher Industries reported a modestly weaker market performance for the first half of 2026. Order intake and revenue were slightly below the 2025 level, driven largely by reduced demand in its agriculture‑related Kuhn Group division amid political uncertainties.

Divisions such as Bucher Municipal, Bucher Hydraulics, Bucher Emhart Glass and Bucher Specials showed positive order trends, but overall capacity utilisation fell and restructuring costs at Bucher Specials pressured operating margins. The company continued cost‑saving initiatives and balanced staff reductions with temporary employment, keeping total employee numbers stable.

Because of the subdued order flow, Bucher adjusted its 2026 outlook downward while maintaining confidence in its market position.
