Buchholz i. d. N. politicians propose natural shade for playgrounds

Where planting is not feasible due to space or safety constraints, the motion suggests exploring alternatives such as green pergolas or sun sails. Beyond immediate heat protection, the initiative seeks to improve the local urban climate by reducing ambient temperatures and sequestering CO2.
