Buchloer Piraten sign young defenders Nieberle and Benz

The Buchloer Piraten ice hockey team has announced the signing of two young defenders, Jonathan Nieberle and Kornelius Benz, to strengthen their roster. Both players are 20 years old and join the team from neighboring Landsberg, where they were key contributors to the U20 squad last year.

Team Manager David Strodel stated that the acquisitions align with the club's philosophy of providing development opportunities for young talent and transitioning them into senior-level hockey. Kornelius Benz joins his brother, Korbinian Benz, who also recently joined the Piraten, marking the return of the Benz brothers to the same team.
