Buck Knives and Casio release new outdoor-focused gear

Buck Knives has introduced the 110 Crossbar Elite, a significant redesign of its classic 110 model first released in 1964. Moving away from the traditional lockback mechanism, the new version utilizes a crossbar lock to allow for one-handed closing. The knife features a 3.75-inch clip point blade made from CPM MagnaCut steel with heat treatment by Paul Bos. Design updates include dual thumb studs, a reversible deep-carry clip, Cobalt Cerakote aluminum bolsters, and DymaLux Macassar ebony inlays.

Casio has released a new version of its Mudmaster GWG-B1000-1A3JF, an analog-digital outdoor watch. This model features an olive-green resin band and includes a Triple Sensor system providing digital compass, altimeter, barometer, and thermometer functions. Additional features include solar charging, radio-controlled timekeeping, and smartphone connectivity. The watch is designed for rugged outdoor use, measuring 58.7 x 52.1 x 16.2 mm and weighing 114 grams.
