Budapest tram accident leaves child in critical condition

Several accidents have been reported in Hungary. In Budapest, a six-year-old boy was critically injured after being struck by a tram at Batthyány Square. Emergency responders, including firefighters using hydraulic lifting equipment, had to free the child from beneath the vehicle. The boy was resuscitated at the scene and transported to Heim Pál Children's Hospital, where he underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries.

In Szeged, a person was injured during a bungee jumping activity at the Szegedi Ifjúsági Napok (SZIN) festival. The individual became entangled in the rope during the jump. Festival organizers confirmed the person was stabilized and has since been discharged from the hospital.

Additionally, a minibus carrying seven people crashed into a utility pole in Oltszém, Romania, leaving all occupants conscious but requiring medical assessment.
