Budapest hosts pink motorcycle parade for breast cancer awareness

Motorcyclists dressed in pink are parading through Budapest to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. Organized by the Hungarian Cancer League, the event aims to highlight the importance of self-examination, organized screenings, and seeking medical advice promptly.

The procession begins at a Harley-Davidson dealership in the 12th district, moving toward Heroes' Square and the Budapest Circus. The event features 81-year-old artist László Endrész, who is attempting a Guinness World Record by completing a 2,000-kilometer motorcycle tour from England to Budapest over one and a half days.

Similar awareness activities are being organized in Debrecen, where a motorcycle parade will proceed from the Reformed Great Church to the Debrecen Clinic. These events coincide with the lead-up to the official World Breast Cancer Day on October 1st.
