The third Budapest International Film Festival (BIFF) is scheduled to take place from October 24 to November 1. The event will be hosted at various locations, including Corvin and special venues across Budapest.

The initial lineup features films from major international programs such as Cannes, Venice, and Sundance. Notable inclusions are László Nemes’s historical drama ‘Moulin’, his first French-language film, and Lili Horvát’s sci-fi romance ‘My Notes on Mars’, which premiered at the Venice Days.

Other announced films include a social satire by Radu Jude, a queer horror-comedy by Jane Schoenbrun, a creative documentary by John Wilson, and a coming-of-age story by Marine Atlan. The festival’s Gala section will also showcase two new Hungarian films.
