Budapest jazz festivals announce 2026 line‑ups with worldwide stars and Korean spotlight

The Paloznaki Jazzpiknik, Hungary’s flagship lakeside jazz festival, presented its full 2026 roster, featuring leading artists from the United States, United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands alongside Hungarian favorites such as Antonia Vai and the Vanavan Jazz. The program blends jazz with soul, funk, pop, R&B and electronic sounds, and introduces a new Festival Giving Manifesto that outlines a long‑term, socially responsible model for music events.

JazzFest Budapest marked its fifth anniversary with a special "Korea Focus" series. Between 27 June and 5 July, South Korean musicians—including pianist Cho Yoonseung, vocalist Youn Sun Nah, the Near East Quartet, Yonglee & The DOLTANG and the One Mind Trio—will perform at venues across the city, highlighting contemporary Korean jazz and deepening cultural ties between Hungary and Korea.
