Budapest police seek suspects in Akácfa Street murder

Police in Budapest have identified two suspects in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred on Akácfa Street in the VII District on September 18. The victim, a 36-year-old man, died at the scene despite resuscitation efforts by police and paramedics.

Authorities initially detained a 40-year-old man, but his lawyer later confirmed he had a verified alibi and was not involved in the crime. Following this, police issued new warrants for 40-year-old Dávid Horváth on suspicion of murder, and 48-year-old Zsolt Rostás for suspected serious bodily harm. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to search for the suspects.
