Budapest to host major AI summit as Promise Group expands in Hungary

The Compass AI & Tech Summit 2026 is scheduled for October 1–2 at the Eiffel Műhelyház in Budapest. This event merges five previous professional conferences to address how AI can create tangible business value across various roles, including product development, data analysis, and design. Notable speakers include Microsoft lead designer Bryce Johnson, creator of the Xbox Adaptive Controller.

In the corporate sector, Promise Group has strengthened its Hungarian presence through the acquisition of Kontron Partner Kft. The acquired company will operate under the new name Promise Enterprise Hungary Kft. as of July 1, 2026. This strategic move is part of the group's 2025–2030 international growth strategy, focusing on regional expansion and services built on the Microsoft ecosystem. The company aims to provide a comprehensive suite of Microsoft licensing, cloud-based, AI, and cybersecurity solutions while ensuring continuity for existing clients and contracts.
