Budapest to host METU Graduate Fashion Show and DesignFest

Budapest will host two significant creative industry events in late 2025 and 2026. The METU Graduate Fashion Show is scheduled for October 28, featuring nearly 100 unique collections from Budapest Metropolitan University (METU) fashion and textile design students. Held at the Apollo Gallery, the show focuses on the theme “the synergy of collaboration,” highlighting student-teacher knowledge exchange, sustainability, and the use of recycled materials.

Additionally, the inaugural DesignFest will take place from November 12 to 22, 2026. Organized by the Hungarian Furniture and Wood Industry Association in partnership with the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, the festival aims to unite the Hungarian design community. The event will span multiple locations in Budapest with nearly 30 partners, seeking to bridge the gap between manufacturing capacity and creative design intellectual capital.
