Budapest to host tenth annual Sólet Festival

The tenth annual Sólet Festival will take place on August 30 in Budapest's Városháza Park. Organized by EMIH, the event serves as the opening ceremony for Synagogue Week and offers visitors a chance to experience traditional Jewish cuisine through contemporary gastronomic and cultural programs.

Four distinct versions of sólet will be showcased: a Hungarian version featuring smoked beef and goose, an Israeli version with beef and cumin, a Hegyalja version with goose fat and various meats, and a street food version served in warm pita. The festival will include cultural contributions from various artists and a DJ from Israel.
