Budapest's Benczúr Garden Evenings and Balatonfüred Klezmer Fest Kick Off Summer 2026

Budapest will host the Benczúr Garden Evenings programme from 15 June to mid‑August 2026 on the outdoor stage of the Benczúr House. The festival features concerts, theatre, opera, operetta, musical and film productions, opening with the Pénzügyőr Zenekar summer‑kickoff concert. Additional offerings include Latin‑style music, interactive workshops, a Piaf tribute, performances by Jordan Adél, Bardóczy Attila, the Danubia Orchestra and a range of comedy and operatic shows.

From 10 to 12 July 2026, Balatonfüred will hold its first International Klezmer Festival. The three‑day event on the Kisfaludy Open‑Air Stage presents Hungarian, Czech, Slovak and Israeli ensembles, with free concerts complemented by Jewish and Hungarian food, craft stalls and a market. The festival is supported by the town mayor, the Mazsihisz federation and local cultural organisations, aiming to become an annual tradition for the city’s summer cultural calendar.
